Acuity Schedule
I totally LOVE Acuity Scheduling! When I was looking for the best scheduling software for Z&B Consulting, Inc. I researched a bunch of options. The one I choose to go with was Acuity because of all the functionality it provides. The interface is fun, clean and modern which is important to me when I'm spending a lot of time in a software.
The biggest pro for me was that you can have a separate link for each appointment and a separate link for each appointment type. So, if someone wants to sign up for a 30 min coaching call, I can send them a link for that and they don't have to scroll through a long list to find it. On the flip-side, if they aren't sure what kind of coaching call they want, I can send them the link to all coaching calls and they can sort through to find what works for them. Either way, they aren't scrolling through a long list of all my available appointment options. Providing such robust separation of appointments wasn't available in some of the others I looked at. In addition to service items, you can sell products through Acuity. That's where I have sales of my book. With most appointment schedulers, you can take payment for your appointments online when they schedule. Additionally, Acuity allows you to create coupons and to put your items together in a package. So, if someone wants to buy a package of 3 coaching calls to get a deal on them, they can do that. Acuity also allows you to let people make a series of payments toward a purchase.
Like most other schedulers, links to an appointment can be emailed to people or put on your website using html or a button. This page on the Z&B website shows buttons that go to Acuity and this page shows what the html looks like. It also connects to your calendar like most other schedulers. Although, if a scheduler isn't connecting to my calendar it didn't even make the list of software I looked at.
That really covers the basics of what people look for in a scheduling software. What I love about Acuity goes well beyond the basics. I love the various forms you can create for people to answer questions before and after the appointment and how you can run reports to compare responses to the questions. For instance, when someone comes to a Co-Working Day, they are able to answer questions and tell me if they will be there for the whole day and if they want to do a mastermind that day. When someone registers for a Coaching Call, they are able to answer pre-call questions that keep me up to date and post call questions to reflect on the call and next steps. Prior to using Acuity, I would have to manually send these emails before and after the call and often forgot. The best part is that when I look in a client's records, I can see the list of all the questions they've answered before and after appointments all in one place. One other cool part is that you can take notes by each appointment and it's HIPAA Compliant so it can be used for those in the medical field.
Lastly, you can send email and text messages to people before and after appointments. I really love this feature because it allows us to send reminders of what to do before and after appointments.
